Project Description

Browne McGregor Architects provided architectural services for the recently completed Tomball Medical Plaza and several of the tenants occupying space in the building. The project is LEED CS Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and is the first such registered project in the City of Tomball. The two story, tilt-wall structure contains a total of 54,380 square feet. Three colors of insulated glass accent the stair towers, windows and curtain wall screen at the covered drop off. Roof top photovoltaic panels provide on-site generation for a portion of the building’s electricity. Other sustainable features include the sun orientation of the structure, recycled material content, hybrid parking stalls, and bicycle racks and showers to encourage non-automobile commuting.
