Charles Browne, Jim McGregor, Cory Porter
Browne McGregor Architects is a Houston based architecture firm that was founded in 1995. However, our years of previous architectural work has shaped the firm’s project process, culture, and ultimately, the client experience. We are a mid-sized firm with an average tenure of seven years among our employees. Each person brings their own rich experiences and expertise. As a result, our clients benefit from this complementary mix of project specialties and skill sets.
We are a full-service firm and work in many market sectors, including healthcare, retail, hospitality, and commercial. We specialize in well-designed, highly-functional and sustainable buildings. This diversity enables us to be well-versed in the continually changing regulatory and sustainability requirements each market sector faces. This intimacy with each sector allows us to cross-pollinate ideas from one market sector to another. For instance, it is not uncommon for us to bring concepts and materials from the hospitality sector to healthcare interiors or to apply sustainable concepts to all of our work rather than just LEED-certified projects.
Our process is one of discovery. We explore with each client the many factors that ultimately shape the finished project. Every project has its own character and feel; we help clients put their signature on the finished building. We also know that our clients’ goals extend beyond aesthetics to include solutions that enhance operations and investment returns. Our team works collaboratively with clients to ensure building function goes hand in hand with fully-rooted in environmental sensitivity.
We appreciate our clients and welcome feedback and suggestions. Use our Contact Us page to tell us what we’re doing right or where we can improve.
